Blepharoplasty 12
Back To Procedure
Description:
Ptosis of the upper eyelid is when the lid margin hangs lower than it should, frequently covering part of the pupil and interfering with vision. Blepharoptosis is when a fold of redundant upper eyelid skin obscures the pupil by overhanging the lid margin as in the case of this 70-year-old white male. The lid margin itself was in the correct position. A four lid blepharoplasty with lower lid tightening did the trick.
